Loneliness, isolation, and solitude tend to go in hand in hand. Some despite finding comfort in being “alone”, start to feel unbearable loneliness. Other seek solitude to protect others from themselves. I have known some who seek loneliness and solitude like a breath of fresh air, like seeking their next high or next take of hit from drug. It makes them seek themselves, wanting to dive themselves to seek stories, imaginative imagery, to have just a moment of escape. Some seek it in themselves to finally connect to Allah.
